Benefits of Membership

Membership of the Coppice Road Allotments Association is restricted to current tenants of an allotment plot on the
Coppice Road (Poynton) allotment site.

Benefits of membership are:-

Affiliation to the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners Ltd (NSALG)
(and access to their discount Seed Scheme)

Public Indemnity Insurance coverage for members engaged in association activities*

Free stable manure for members’ allotments and gardens

Free woodchippings for pathways and mulches

Access to Communal Shed for shelter and storage of tools

Purchase of fertilisers and sundries at heavily discounted rates

Use of communal wheelbarrows, trailer, and other tools

Loan of association ‘raised-bed kits’ for less physically agile members

Discounts on purchases at named stores, nurseries and garden centres  (click here for more details)

Social events for members and families

Communal Demonstration Plot for training and plant trials.

Regular liaison with Cheshire East Council (our landlord)

Web site, gardening news, advice and participation in community projects and Poynton Show

Current Membership Subscription is £6.00 per annum
(this includes £2.00 NSALG affiliation fee)
Membership year Apr 1 - Mar 31

*members are covered by public indemnity insurance  for association activities only, provided they are not in arrears with their membership subscription, which falls due on Apr 1st  annually.
